Why can't you just elope?

It's an interesting phenomenon that when you are getting married for the (ahem) third time, you are supposed to be sheepish, and quietly go off in the corner to do it in a smallish way. No matter that maybe this time you are finally getting it right, or your other weddings were small and not really to your liking.

So, I've decided to start marketing second and third wedding planning, so that people don't have to feel embarrassed. If 50% of all marriages end in divorce, chances are, most people are going to get married more than once. So don't hide; celebrate!

The names I'm tossing around are: Three Strikes and You're In; Second Hand/Second Wind (this will go well with the Cialis market); and Tie the Knot Again!

Really, the first wedding should be the smallest, most private one, because it's embarrassing to think how great the odds of that ending in divorce are. If you've already been divorced once, or even twice, statistically speaking, the next one is the marriage that will last, and so everyone should come to that wedding.

See everyone in September.

I've always liked 'Third Time Lucky'. More a personal motto than marketing strategy, I suppose, but just a thought.
